On March 16, I will be running in the 2014 NYC Half Marathon.
Each race I have participated in, has been dedicated to an important cause or a person, who has made a difference in the world. This race is being dedicated to my friend & former co-worker at the FOX News Channel, Annie Goodman.
She's a young breast cancer survivor (in her early 30s), who is currently fighting a new battle against cancer. Annie is also tireless advocate in the cancer community, and a "Champion" for the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.
In her own words, "Life doesn't always go as planned." She writes about her most recent diagnosis in her blog, "so i have cancer," which captures what she is going through right now.
In a show of support, as "I Run for Annie," please consider donating to a cause that's near and dear to her heart, the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.
