One of the surprising perks of being a producer for a LIVE radio show with a cult-like following, is free food. And not just any morsels of sustenance; the kind 'foodies' crave.
For the past few weeks, fans have been arriving at our studio (or sending their friends) with everything from fresh fruit baskets which look like floral arrangements, to muffins... and Cronuts™, just to say Thank you for doing what we do.
Wait, did I just say Cronuts™-- the much coveted, unique pastry creations by Chef Dominique Ansel, which have been described as a croissant-doughnut all-in-one? The same delicacy which people wait in line for hours to purchase? Indeed, I did.
